Announcement Awards for 2023

The Fellowship for Indigenous Leadership were proud to announce the new Awardees for 2023 in the Treetops Room at the Melbourne Museum on Thursday 15 June 2023.
The evening was MC’d by Peter Maher, Chair of the Advisory Committee, an Acknowledgement of Country was given by Aunty Diane Kerr, an interview with Anna Light from the Selection Panel and presentation to the new Fellow by Daphne Yarram.
The new Awardees for 2023 were:
Bek Lasky (Emerging Leader 2023 – 2024)) is a proud Wakaya woman who was born and raised on the lands of the Wadawurrung people in Geelong.
Tyson Lovett-Murray (Emerging Leader 2023 – 2024) is a proud Gunditjmara man who grew up in the Heywood community.
Ricky Baldwin (Fellow 2023 – 2026) is a proud Gunai-Kurnai man residing in Melbourne.
Corey Walker (new initiative of an Education Grant 2023 – 2025) is a proud Yorta Yorta man living in the Goulburn Murray Region.
The Fellowship also recognised the supporters who generously donated in the last 12 months as well as the organisations that the Fellowship for Indigenous Leadership has been so fortunate to have long-standing relationships with whether financially or indirectly.
