The Fellowship for Indigenous Leadership held an evening reception in the Clarendon Room at the Melbourne Conference Exhibition Centre.

The Fellowship celebrated the appointment of two Emerging Leaders for 2018 – 2019 – Alister Thorpe, presented by Paul Briggs OAM (Inaugural Fellow 2003 – 2007), and Naomi Murphy, presented by Lidia Thorpe (Emerging Leader 2008 – 2009).

The Fellowship also recognised the new supporters who generously donated in the last 12 months as well as the organisations that the Fellowship for Indigenous Leadership has been so fortunate to have long-standing relationships with whether financially or indirectly.

The new Emerging Leaders were joined by their families, colleagues, members of the Alumni and Advisory Committee and many supporters of the Fellowship from government, philanthropic and corporate organisations.
