Selection Panel

The Selection Panel is independent of the Fellowship for Indigenous Leadership Advisory Committee to ensure that there is no conflict of interest in the selection of the members.

The Panel comprises both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members of high standing in the community. They bring particular community, business and leadership expertise.

Each year the panel consists of four to five members and over the last 17 years we have had fourteen Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and five non-Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander panel members. After reviewing all applications and interviewing the shortlisted candidates, the Selection Panel provides their recommendations to the Advisory Committee.
